Sofa collection in Borehamwood covers the WD6 postcode district, including Elstree and Well End. Send a photo, get a fixed price for the whole job, and leave the carrying to two people who do it every day.
Every job in Borehamwood is priced from your photo: the carrying, the loading and the disposal in one figure, with nothing added on the day. Mention anything that affects the route, such as a first-floor flat with no lift, a sofa bed with a metal frame or a recliner with a motor, and the price we send covers it.
Nothing we collect in Borehamwood is fly-tipped or left in a lay-by. Sofas go to a licensed waste transfer station under our upper tier waste carrier licence, CBDU526130, where the frame, foam and fabric are separated, or they are passed on for reuse where they are still sound and carry a fire label. If you would rather use the bulky waste service from Hertsmere Council, it is booked ahead and the sofa usually has to be put outside on the day.
One fixed price from your photo
Send a picture, get a price for the whole job, pay once it is on the van. If anything looks different from the photo when we arrive, we tell you before we lift it.

Sofa removal in Borehamwood: questions answered
Which parts of Borehamwood do you cover?
We cover the whole of the WD6 postcode district in Borehamwood. If your postcode district is not in that list, send a photo anyway and we will tell you straight away.
How quickly can you collect a sofa in Borehamwood?
Same-day or next-day collection is offered wherever possible. Email early in the morning for the best chance of a slot that day, and we tell you what we can do before you commit.
Can you collect from a flat in Borehamwood?
Yes. Two people carry the sofa down the stairs or take it in the lift. Say which floor it is on and whether there is a lift, and the price we send already allows for the route.
Do I need to be in?
Someone needs to let the crew in and point to the sofa. If a neighbour, a letting agent or a key safe can do that instead, say so in your email.
What happens to my sofa after collection?
Reusable sofas with their fire safety label are passed on where possible. The rest go to a licensed waste transfer station, where the frame, foam and fabric are separated. Upholstered furniture is kept out of landfill.
Why not use the council bulky waste collection in Borehamwood?
You can, through Hertsmere Council. It is booked ahead and the sofa usually has to go outside on the set day. We collect from the room it is in and aim for same-day or next-day where possible. Send a photo and compare.
