Sofa removal in Prestwich covers the M25 postcode district, including Sedgley Park and Simister, on the Bury side of the border with north Manchester. Email a photo of the sofa, get a fixed price back, and two people carry it out from wherever it sits and load it onto the van.
Prestwich is mostly semis and larger terraces, and the sofas tend to be big: corner sofas built in the room by the delivery crew, recliners with motors in each seat, three seaters that came in through a window because the hallway turns. The crew brings the tools to split a corner sofa into its sections and unplugs recliners before they move them, so you do not need to take anything apart yourself.
Bury Council runs a bulky waste collection that is booked ahead, with the sofa left outside on the set day. We collect from the room it is in and aim for same-day or next-day wherever possible. Everything we take goes to a licensed waste transfer station under our upper tier waste carrier licence, CBDU526130, unless it can be passed on for reuse.
One fixed price from your photo
Email a picture, get a price for the whole job, pay once it is on the van. If anything looks different from the photo when we arrive, we tell you before we lift it.

Sofa removal in Prestwich: questions answered
Which parts of Prestwich do you cover?
We cover every Prestwich postcode district: M25. If your postcode district is not in that list, email a photo anyway and we will tell you straight away.
How quickly can you collect a sofa in Prestwich?
Same-day or next-day collection is offered wherever possible. Email early in the morning for the best chance of a slot that day, and we tell you what we can do before you commit.
Can you collect from a flat in Prestwich?
Yes. Two people carry the sofa down the stairs or take it in the lift. Say which floor it is on and whether there is a lift, and the price we send already allows for the route.
Do I need to be in?
Someone needs to let the crew in and point to the sofa. If a neighbour, a letting agent or a key safe can do that instead, say so in your email.
What happens to my sofa after collection?
Reusable sofas with their fire safety label are passed on where possible. The rest go to a licensed waste transfer station, where the frame, foam and fabric are separated. Upholstered furniture is kept out of landfill.
Why not use the council bulky waste collection in Prestwich?
You can, through Bury Council. It is booked ahead and the sofa usually has to go outside on the set day. We collect from the room it is in and aim for same-day or next-day where possible. Send a photo and compare.
