How quickly can you collect a sofa in Sale?
Same-day or next-day collection is offered wherever possible. Email early in the morning for the best chance of a slot that day, and we tell you what we can do before you commit.
Can you collect from a flat in Sale?
Yes. Two people carry the sofa down the stairs or take it in the lift. Say which floor it is on and whether there is a lift, and the price we send already allows for the route.
Do I need to be in?
Someone needs to let the crew in and point to the sofa. If a neighbour, a letting agent or a key safe can do that instead, say so in your email.
What happens to my sofa after collection?
Reusable sofas with their fire safety label are passed on where possible. The rest go to a licensed waste transfer station, where the frame, foam and fabric are separated. Upholstered furniture is kept out of landfill.
Why not use the council bulky waste collection in Sale?
You can, through Trafford Council. It is booked ahead and the sofa usually has to go outside on the set day. We collect from the room it is in and aim for same-day or next-day where possible. Send a photo and compare.
