Our sofa removal in South Ockendon takes in the RM15 postcode district. One photo gets you a fixed price, and on the day two people lift the sofa out of the room, down any stairs and onto the van.
South Ockendon is 2 miles from Chafford Hundred and West Thurrock and 3 miles from Upminster, both of which we also cover, so a collection here is often combined with others nearby and can usually be fitted in quickly. Tell us when suits you and we book it. The crew arrives, lifts the sofa out and loads it, and you pay the quoted price once it is on the van.
Nothing we collect in South Ockendon is fly-tipped or left in a lay-by. Sofas go to a licensed waste transfer station under our upper tier waste carrier licence, CBDU526130, where the frame, foam and fabric are separated, or they are passed on for reuse where they are still sound and carry a fire label. If you would rather use the bulky waste service from Thurrock Council, it is booked ahead and the sofa usually has to be put outside on the day.
One fixed price from your photo
Send a picture, get a price for the whole job, pay once it is on the van. If anything looks different from the photo when we arrive, we tell you before we lift it.

Sofa removal in South Ockendon: questions answered
Which parts of South Ockendon do you cover?
We cover the whole of the RM15 postcode district in South Ockendon. If your postcode district is not in that list, send a photo anyway and we will tell you straight away.
How quickly can you collect a sofa in South Ockendon?
Same-day or next-day collection is offered wherever possible. Email early in the morning for the best chance of a slot that day, and we tell you what we can do before you commit.
Can you collect from a flat in South Ockendon?
Yes. Two people carry the sofa down the stairs or take it in the lift. Say which floor it is on and whether there is a lift, and the price we send already allows for the route.
Do I need to be in?
Someone needs to let the crew in and point to the sofa. If a neighbour, a letting agent or a key safe can do that instead, say so in your email.
What happens to my sofa after collection?
Reusable sofas with their fire safety label are passed on where possible. The rest go to a licensed waste transfer station, where the frame, foam and fabric are separated. Upholstered furniture is kept out of landfill.
Why not use the council bulky waste collection in South Ockendon?
You can, through Thurrock Council. It is booked ahead and the sofa usually has to go outside on the set day. We collect from the room it is in and aim for same-day or next-day where possible. Send a photo and compare.
